Grab your bug spray, your best road trip playlist, and a solid snack lineup, Alberta’s parks are calling.

This Saturday, July 19, it’s Parks Day...aka the ultimate excuse to explore, play, hike, snack, and dance your way through Alberta’s wildest and most beautiful spaces. And this year, we’re not just celebrating nature (as if that wasn’t enough), we’re also toasting 95 years of Alberta Parks. That’s nearly a century of mountain views, lakeside campouts, and “wait, is that a moose?” moments!

From the Rockies to the boreal, local celebrations are popping up across the province with live music, family-friendly games, Indigenous storytelling, guided hikes, local eats, and more nature than your camera roll can handle.
